Exmoor Foal

This is one of many foals that inspired me. The reference photo was taken on the evening of the first day. There were so many opportunities to see the foals moving, jumping, playing, and napping, which made choosing which ones to capture and illustrate a challenge.

This was a fun drawing to create. I used fine tip markers, alcohol markers, white color pencil, and a white acrylic marker, building up color and shading to bring this foal to life.
