Horse and Pet Portraits

Commission a high quality work of art that captures the personality of your beloved pet. For the best results, send a clear and well lit picture of your pet. If you are having a hard time deciding, go ahead and send a few my way!

Process Description:

I work mainly on wood panel. When using gouache I mount watercolor paper to the panel to make it usable for gouache. I first layer the paint in somewhat thin washes to give the colors and shadows more depth. Then, I go in with thicker layers to punch up the details. I work mostly from reference that I have photographed myself.
