Amidst the Wild Ones: Gallery

Among the heather of the Danish moorlands, mares grazing peacefully while their newly-born foals snooze, yearlings playfully nipping and chasing each other, band leaders chasing their mares back home, I spent a weekend last summer observing and photographing wild Exmoor ponies and Konik Stallions. I want to share this experience the best way I know how; through painting, drawing, and photography.

This exhibition was created as an ode to those horses and their beautiful authentic lives and to connect those who have found solace in the presence of horses. You can see the collection in person in Riverside Studios located in the historic River Arts District of Asheville, NC through mid July. You can read more about each piece bellow.
