Amidst the Wild Ones: Day Three

Morning

They surprised us with a trip to see some Konik stallions. They lived on a farmer’s land along with some cattle to help maintain it. It started raining on the way there, so I knew we were in for a wet time. It was light rain, but consistent. So by the time we were done taking photos, I was soaked. That wasn’t the only issues I was having that day, my thirteen year old camera decided that day was its last day. I wasn’t able to get a lot of photos that day, but I still enjoyed my time watching and learning about these beautiful ponies. They were curious about us and came up to say hi when we finally found them. They were a beautiful bachelor group of stallions. This morning was when I took the reference photos for “Soft Stallion” and “Big Stretch.”
