Amidst the Wild Ones: Day Three

Morning

On the way to the Billund airport, we were surprised with a trip to see a band of Konik stallions. They lived on a farmer’s land along with some cows who all helped maintain the land. It started raining on the way there, so I knew we were in for a wet time. It was light rain, but consistent. So by the time we were done taking photos, I was soaked through.

However, that wasn’t the only problem I was running into that day. My thirteen year old camera decided today was its last. Due to this issue I wasn’t able to get a lot of photos that day, but I still enjoyed my time watching and learning about these beautiful ponies. They were curious about us and came up to say hi when we finally found them. They were a beautiful bachelor group of stallions. This morning was when I took the reference photos for “Soft Stallion” and “Big Stretch.”

I was allowed to use someone else’s camera to capture this shot
